Ruth Martin is an illustrator, designer and printmaker based in South East London.
Ruth prints limited edition artists’ books with hand cut rubber stamps and publishes a range of hand-finished greetings cards and paper products. Her illustrations elevate everyday objects such as tins of corned beef or sayings like ‘Pleased to meet you!’ into miniature printed marvels.
Her work has been exhibited and sold in galleries and stores worldwide including Liberty, Paul Smith, The Conran Shop, V&A, Whitechapel Gallery and The Royal Academy of Arts. Recently Ruth was commissioned to complete a series of illustrations for the newly opened Postal Museum in London. She has work in a number of public collections, most notably Tate Britain.
